It was a successful day out for Sturt students and teachers as Harris went on to win a tight battle for champion house.
House edged out Macleay, while Clayton and Fraser finished third and fourth.
There was also four records broken on the day.
Sturt sports coordinator Susan Brasier was impressed by the children’s willingness to get in and have a go.
“We had good participation numbers, especially in the junior events,” Brasier said.
“Everyone put in 110 per cent effort and they all had a good day.
“We also had lots of children participate in the structured water activities.”
