Yep, the summer holidays are over and the 2018 school year has begun.
The first little pupils headed back to class when the Lutheran School’s first term began on Monday, with thousands more streaming through school gates on Tuesday.
And of course, there were plenty of happy snaps taken as parents bade farewell to their children for the day.

Top tips from Year 1
At Lutheran School on Monday, last year’s kindergarten pupils – who are now old hands in Year 1 – offered some tips for their soon-to-be schoolmates.
The students’ best advice was to be well-prepared.
They suggested getting up early, making sure uniforms were prepared, packing a healthy lunch and having a good selection of options ready for fruit break.
But their best tip? “Have fun”.
