It was back to work this week for many Wagga residents but it didn’t stop families from getting outdoors to enjoy the sunshine.
It couldn’t get any better than a classic game of cricket or a play at the park as the temperature started to cool down.
But while the cooler weekend saw families out and about across the city, the mercury is tipped to climb once more.
The Bureau of Meteorology predicted sunny skies for the coming week, with temperatures rising from 29 degrees on Monday to 41 on Friday. Night-time temperatures will still be quite cool, with a low of 11 predicted for Monday night and 15 for Wednesday, but they will also climb at the end of the week to 24 on Friday.
Showers could drop the mercury by the weekend.
