Local juniors Mitch McCrory and Ashley Watt will travel to Albury next week for a three-day coaching clinic run by former Manchester United goalkeeping coach Eric Steele.
The duo were coached by Steele in 2016 and McCrory, who spent last season with Lake Albert, said he was itching for part two.
The 15-year-old believes Steele offers a unique insight he cannot get anywhere else.
“A good example was when he ran a drill which focused on foot saves,” he said.
“No one had ever done that with us and that changed the game for me.”
McCrory said he had also been impressed by Steele’s approach previously.
“He’s willing to work with you one-on-one,” he said.
“He’ll pull you aside and talk to you specifically during drills.”
Steele will conduct two four-hour sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday.
