The 28-year-old was charged with an aggravated break and enter and common assault at a Blake Street address on December 24, after highway patrol police found him a passenger in a speeding Yaris at South Bowenfels.
“A victim should not be hit in their own home by an offender who’s broken into their home - it’s another low act on behalf of someone like that,” Wagga Police Acting Inspector Nigel Turney said.
He will now appear before Wagga Local Court on January 24.
