An ambulance helicopter has airlifted a nine-year-old girl to Canberra Hospital following a water skiing accident at Blowering Dam.
Emergency services were called around 2pm on New Year’s Day after the girl, who is believed to be from Wagga, sustained a neck injury.
Ambulance officers stabilised the girl while police created a perimeter to allow the helicopter to land at the Talbingo end of the dam foreshore.
The girl was transported to hospital in a stable condition.
