Raiders got the better of Octopuses when the two sides last met, prevailing 3-2, and coach Alan De Jong is hoping for more of the same this week.
De Jong said maintaining a tight defence would be as important as ever.
“Last time we were pretty good defensively and that went a long way,” he said.
“We’ll need to do that again and keep tabs on guys like David Barrett who is the general of their side.
“It’ll be a matter of curtailing him and few of their other key guys.”
De Jong said his team would also be looking to avoid the slow starts it has been susceptible to recently, but managed to avoid last week during a 7-5 triumph over Octopuses Black.
In the other men’s game, Dolphins will take on Octopuses Black.
