Rolled into a full-bore, shoes off sound that whispers sweet nothings in the ears of listeners, Jack Stephens and Cameron Graham from Creature Fear have been rising on the Triple J charts.
Lead singer, guitarist and songwriter Cameron Graham said the past 18 months since the band formed have been a whirlwind journey.
“We’ve played lots of Melbourne shows and had some great supports with bands we really respect and admire such as Ball Park Music, Boo Seeka, Killing Heidi, Tired lion and Kingswood over the last year,” he said.
“Playing those shows was a dream as everyone was so lovely. Seeing them play really helped us lift our game as we were able to see just how tight we have to be on stage and we picked up some tips on what to do and not do.”
The band released their first single Please Me, have placed in the top ten of all Triple J unearthed charts and have since been placed on channel’s Unearthed station rotation.
A new single will be released in early 2018 to be followed by an five-song extended play album.
