Despite taking out last year’s best and fairest nod the 18-year-old was still surprised to be named the winner on Saturday.
“It is pretty surprising actally,” Perrot said.
“I didn’t think I could do that (go back-to-back) and dad didn’t think so either.
“But is it very honouring.”
Perrot had a big lead at the halfway mark and managed to hold on.
She paid credit to coach Jackelyn Hughes how much she helped this season.
“I love Jacky and she is probably one of my closest friends in the leaguetag team and a good idol to look up to,” Perrot said.
Junee’s Hayden Diggins was named best and fairest in reserve grade.
Brothers playmaker Brad Cain was named the best player in the Weissel Cup competition while Southcity halfback Latrell Siegwalt took out the Sullivan Cup nod.
