Rogers was brilliant across half-back for the Jets, igniting the Jets into attack and epitomising their open, running game. He was also used as a key forward and through the midfield at times but was most damaging in his customary role.
He edged out star midfielders, club co-captains Sam Fisher and Mitch Haddrill, who were joint runners-up. All three finished in the top five at the Clear Medal count.
Rogers was also best-on-ground for the Farrer League representative side in their win against Ovens and King League
Matt Prentice took out the Jets’ reserve grade award while Henry Grinter was the under 17s best-and-fairest.
