A Mount Austin man has faced Wagga Local Court after a search of his home allegedly revealed a haul of drugs and cash.

Michael Wood, 30, has eight charges against him – supply of a prohibited drug, dealing with property of proceeds of crime, supply of a prohibited drug and possession of a prohibited drug.
He is also charged with possession of an unregistered firearm, possession of an unauthorised firearm, not keeping a firearm safely and supply of a prohibited plant.
Police allege a total of 345 grams of cannabis was found in bags inside the laundry and in a children’s cubby playhouse at Wood’s house, as well as $6130 cash in $50 notes.
Wood is accused of being in possession of 11.34 grams and of supplying 14.82 grams of methamphetamine.
The case was adjourned for negotiations to November 8. No pleas have been entered.
