Wagga Futsal president Sam Gray said he was in discussions with numerous parties in a bid to meet the overwhelming demand.
“We still have a lot of teams that can’t play,” he said.
“Teams are welcome to join the waiting list in the meantime but we’re working to lock in an additional venue.”
Gray said the local sporting body was also pushing to introduce under 6 and under 8 competitions.
But they too will have to wait until more playing space is found.
Wagga Futsal had 60 players registered following its inception in 2012, and now has 235, with four teams placed on a waiting list.
