After being slowly away on debut, the Terry O’Keefe trained greyhound shot out of the boxes in the Wagga Tile Centre Maiden (400m).
Leading all the way, Al’s Desire Pingin’ Bee by almost six lengths.
O’Keefe was impressed.
“He missed the kick last time but we done a bit of box practice with him,” O’Keefe said.
“He behaved himself better and came out good.”
Al’s Desire is one of eight littermates O’Keefe has in his kennel, but the veteran trainer believes has the most promise.
“We have a bit of an opinion of him but he’s only 19 months of age,” O’Keefe said.
