Shooting ground expansion approved by council

The 25-year lease for the narrow strip of land off Tasman Road was approved at Monday night’s council meeting.
The land was originally reserved as an easement for a levee bank that was never constructed.
It is expected the land will be used to further develop the shooting grounds, which will host the world trap shooting championships next year.
