The 18-year-old was later arrested for smashing a solicitor’s office window on Fitzmaurice street.
Wagga police duty officer Peter Robertson said the Ashmont resident objected to being removed from Victoria Hotel and spat at the man escorting him outside after 2am.
Inspector Robertson said due to his drunken state, the young man was brought back to the police station and a friend later picked him up.
The 18-year-old was then brought back to the police station after 4am where he was charged with malicious damage after breaking a business’ window.
