An extremely hot day, being over 90 in my tent. Packed up again to-day, being once more on the move round, and I was not in the mood for it being very down and out. Towards evening I felt better and finished packing, making an inventory and handing over after tea to the 3rd Field Ambulance. Walked down to the river after tea and had a swim. Apparently we are once more about to push the hun by attacking in the Ancre and Margin round Soissons. It looks as if we are going to punch him out of Albert. To-morrow we move down to camp in the river but may move again at an hour’s notice.
