Rain is expected across the Riverina as isolated storms drench the eastern states of Australia, according to the Bureau of Meteorology.
While part of the country may receive more than 200mm of water, forecasts suggest Wagga and surrounding areas may escape the brunt of the wet weather, catching about 20mm.
Senior Meteorologist Scott Williams residents should “stay tuned for the latest official forecasts and warnings”.
“Broadly, we are expecting between 30 and 50mm without thunderstorms over most areas west of the Divide," Mr Williams said.
“Remember: if it’s flooded, forget it.”
