Wagga City Council has announced it will create 21 new disabled parking spaces in Baylis, Fitzmaurice, Church and Fitzhardinge streets under the Mobility Parking Scheme (MPS), expected to cost $66,000.
The number of disabled parking spaces will increase from 15 to 36 – 16 in Baylis and Fitzmaurice Street and 20 in side streets.
Work on the MPS is expected to start in the coming weeks, which could affect traffic conditions.
