Brothers closing in on new leader

Brothers president Craig Stewart believes it could be another two weeks until the club unveils a new coach.

There was talk a replacement for the axed Ben Black could be finalised as soon as Monday night.

Stewart confirmed there will be a meeting to further discuss their options but didn’t  believe anything would be finalised.

He said the “transition” is still in the works and would be settled soon.

Timoci Vatabuli was named interim coach after Black was stood down by the club with Peter Little leading the team on the field.

The Brethren rallied late to earn a draw with rivals Kangaroos on Saturday but face a massive test with another all-Wagga clash with Southcity this Saturday.
