After a tight opening, the Swans eventually broke the game open and went on to record their third straight victory, 12.12 (84) to 5.8 (38) at Ganmain Sportsground.
The Swans got on top in the second quarter to open up a 17-point lead and then ran in seven goals to three after the main break to score a comfortable win.
Griffith coach Adrian Pavese was pleased to come away with the points.
“It’s not often you come to Ganmain and win by 50 points so we’re pretty pleased with that,” Pavese said.
“Again, there is still lots of things to work on but that’s okay.
“Every time we looked like we were going to get away we lost our way a bit.”
Griffith took a number of players into the game under injury clouds and were relieved to get through unscathed.
“We took in three or four who weren’t 100 per cent so for them to get through we’re pretty pleased, especially with the bye coming up,” Pavese said.
“There are no easy games, it’s an extremely even comp so to get three (wins) in a row, we’ll take that, it sets us up for the bye and another big month of footy after that.”
Will Griggs was best-on-ground for Griffith and was well-supported by Heath Northey, Jordan Iudica and Ben King.
Ben Walsh played on Brent Arho and was named the Lions’ best after restricting him to three goals.
