On Sunday night, the fashion designer had the opportunity of a lifetime, dressing several celebrities for the night of all night’s in Australian television.
His second year at the Logies, Mr Learmont said watching his dresses strut the red carpet was the highlight of his career.
“It was a lot of work but it was absolutely amazing,” Mr Learmont said.
“I had one gown in last year’s logies but this was much bigger, it was a massive year for me.”
More than three months of hard work went into designing the gowns for celebrities from Australian drama series A Place to Call Home.
As a child, Mr Learmont said he would pore over pictures he tore from his grandmother’s Women’s Weekly magazines.
“I was always interested in fashion and design but I never dreamed I’d be working behind the scenes on beautiful gowns for celebrities,” Mr Learmont said.
