Chris Waller’s leading cup hopeful Montauk has been given 60 kilograms in the ATC Membership Handicap (1600m).
A week ago the stakes-placed stayer was announced as Waller’s spearhead for the $150,000 feature on May 5.
Montauk hasn’t finished outside of the placings in his last six starts and has been freshened since a third at Randwick last month.
Joe Pride will also line up his Gold Cup hopeful My Psychiatrist in the same race.
The mare has 54.5kgs in the benchmark 85 handicap worth $100,000 and is coming off a third in a benchmark 78 against her own sex.
