Robert Geppert, Brock Altmann and Connor Whitnall are alleged to have assaulted a Tolland man and demanded $15,000 from him before stealing his English Stafford Shire dog.
Police have laid charges for the aforementioned incident, along with a small number of additional offences.
The state’s gangs squad will also claim the trio were implicated as members of a criminal organisation.
They were arrested as part of a monumental raid on 15 properties across the city which saw 13 people apprehended and a huge haul of drugs, guns and cash seized.
Geppert, Altmann and Whitnall have indicated they will enter pleas when they next front court on May 5.
