Explosives, guns seized near Wagga

A HAUL of guns and improvised explosives have been seized by the NSW Police bomb squad about 50 kilometres east of Wagga on Tuesday. 

Officers were making enquiries in bushland at Nangus when they stumbled upon a number of firearms and homemade bombs on the property. 

The weapons were concealed by leaves. 

The bomb disposal unit was called to the area to assist with investigations and remove the devices. 

The incident is not believed to be terror related.
