On Sunday, friend Luke Stojanovic completed his third charity ride in Ms Hunt’s memory.
More than 70 riders took the the roads, raising more than $3000 for Boree Creek Primary School and Beyond Blue.
Ms Hunt’s sister, Jenny Geppert, said the world needed more people with Mr Stojanovic’s selflessness.
“We all miss Kim dearly and think of her everyday,” Ms Geppert said.
“She was always going above and beyond for others and it is fortunate Luke has carried on her legacy.
“Luke is an amazing individual who faces adversity and yet has the drive to improve the lives of others.”
Mr Stojanovic crossed the finish line of the 29 kilometre ride with a big smile on his face, surrounded by supporters from as far as Sydney.
