The Ashmont Public School student raised more than $300 for her cause, inspired by her great grandfather, who is currently fighting prostate cancer.
Lillie said she wanted to raise the funds to put toward research and finding a cure, after her best friends mother was tragically lost to the disease in 2015.
Wagga barber JD Malendine has also lost family members to cancer and said he was more than happy to cut Lillie’s hair to support the cause.
“She was such a courageous girl, doing what she did for such a wonderful cause, especially in front of all her peers,” Mr Malendine said.
“It is such a terrible disease people have to go through.”
