South Wagga Public School assistant principal Helen Cooper said they are preparing to set up a classroom to reflect the schools humble beginnings, transforming students and teachers back in time.
“It’s very exciting for students to see what it was like in the past and former students to see how far the technology has come,” Ms Cooper said.
“The technology is the biggest change I’ve seen in my 20 years, it’s a completely different learning environment.
“People are welcome to come in a have a look at the school and see how far we have come.”
The crowds will be entertained by the school band, choir and individual performances with various students’ work on display.
Anyone with an association with the school is invited to return for the anniversary on April 1, from 10am to 2pm, with commemorative 125th merchandise available for purchase.
