The 51-year-old man was caught by police about 10pm on Sunday night after he allegedly veered into the City Park Motel on Tarcutta Street.
It is claimed he then refused to be tested and had “choice” words for police.
“By refusing analysis, he will be subjected to the same penalty as a high range PCA,” Inspector Peter Roberson said.
