The 67th Annual National Cherry Festival at Young started on Friday with a party in Anderson Park from 5pm featuring live music, Cherry Queen crowning and a massive fireworks display.
An abundance of fruit and popular pick-your-own cherries experiences will be available over the weekend.
Committee chairman Lenore Schiller has invited visitors to embrace all the festival offers.
Also forming part of the event will be a fireworks spectacular, car show, street parade from 4pm to 5pm on Saturday, a Celtic tattoo show and much more.
The Allied Grain Systems Cherry Festival Golf Cup also takes place at Young Golf Club with a two person ambrose on Sunday.
The property, “Clifton” has an open garden from 10.30am to 3pm with croquet on the lawn and two flute ensembles on Sunday.
