A RIVERINA crash survivor who was nearly killed after swerving from feral pigs on the roadway has issued a stern warning to drivers.

It comes after the AAMI Crash Index revealed Riverina drivers were 40 times more likely to hit wildlife compared to Sydney drivers. Ms Richards was travelling on a dirt road near Rankins Springs in 2015 when she swerved to avoid pigs, causing her car to roll eight times.
“Things can change within seconds and you can be left with problems that last a long time," she said.
