NSW Fire and Rescue at the North Wagga blaze.
NSW Fire and Rescue were unable to save a shed at a North Wagga property that caught ablaze just before 3pm. Meanwhile, six local RFS units responded to a grass fire on River Road, Alfredtown, which burned through about 100 acres.
“We were exceptionally lucky it happened today because we could still be chasing it otherwise,” NSW RFS Riverina operations officer Brad Stewart said.
