The state’s Child Abuse Squad received a distressing report that a teenage girl had been sexually abused on “multiple occasions” between October and November.
The Daily Advertiser understands the alleged perpetrator physically assaulted the young victim while he molested her.
Police were unable to reveal the exact location of the offences amid fears it would identify the victim.
After thorough investigations, detectives arrested a 19-year-old man in South West Sydney.
He was charged with five separate counts of aggravated sexual assault, four counts of aggravated indecent assault and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
It is also alleged the suspect sent lewd pictures to the teenage girl through social media.
He will appear before Liverpool Local Court on Friday.
