The Black Tie and Boots Ball, scheduled for this weekend, has been postponed due to a lack of numbers.
“There were just so many people away and we wanted to have a minimum number,” fundraiser Penny Lamont said.
“There were so many people who wanted to support us that couldn’t be there.”
But the generosity of Wagga residents has ensured the $10,000 already raised will cover the cost of the obstacle course at the facility to be used for regular attendees and able to be hired out.
Funds raised from the ball, which has been postponed until May 6, 2017, will go towards further upgrading the facility.
“It’ll just mean that we can make the obstacle course bigger and better and keep it fresh,” Mrs Lamont said.
