Farmers Home assistant manager Mia Rosetta is leading the charge for the U.G.L.Y. Bartender of the Year campaign by demonstrating traits that embrace the ‘Understandable Generous Likeable You.’
This is not the first year the Farmers Home has hosted the event but it is the first year Miss Rosetta has attempted to get participation from all Wagga pubs.
The event raises money for the Leukaemia Foundation, a cause which Miss Rosetta said is more than deserving of Wagga’s full support.
“They are supporting people while they go through something horrible,” she said.
The aim is to raise $10,000, which earns the Farmers Home a $1000 flight voucher that Miss Rosetta intends to donate to a Wagga hospital for a family with a child in remission.
Festivities begin at 12pm at the Farmers Home on October 30 with activities, competitions, a raffle and a trophy up for grabs.
