May was rewarded for a stellar season at the Saints’ presentation night on Friday when he scored a resounding win in the first grade vote count.
The 19-year-old polled 56 votes, to finish 20 clear off Canberra-based midfielder Lachie Highfield.
A grade netball league medallist Ruby Porter captured the double by also taking out the club best and fairest.
North Wagga A grade coach Tessa Godbee announced she will stand down from the role due to work and university commitments but continue to play.
Carly Tracey also resigned from the netball coordinator’s role due to work and family commitments, with the club to advertise for both positions shortly.
Mathew Howarth was announced as the club’s new reserve grade coach, taking over from Kyle Cross.
Rod Sheedy was named the Saints’ Clubman of the Year.
