Kennedy enjoyed a sensational debut as he kicked three second-half goals to help guide Greater Western Sydney (GWS) to victory over Essendon.
Kennedy finished with 11 disposals and three goals in the Giants’ 27-point win.
Kennedy loved every minute of his debut.
“I was stoked with what happened and I can’t believe it really happened,” Kennedy told Giants TV after the game.
“I think I was a bit lucky that the ball fell my way and the boys helped me out a lot, but yeah I loved it.”
The 19-year-old appreciated all the support that came his way.
“It was good to see a lot of support from family and friends,” he said.
“I’m just really grateful at the moment and still on a high. I loved every minute of it.”
