MYER has moved to quell concerns its Wagga outlet might be on the chopping block after the shock closure of the Orange and Wollongong stores was announced on Friday.

The closures come as Myer’s chief executive Richard Umbers admitted there was “limited scope” in regional stores.
But a Myer spokeswoman on Friday told The DA that there were no plans to close the Baylis Street store.
“It will continue to be business as usual in Wagga,” she said.
