Whyman has been selected as an ambassador, taking part in a number of projects until Saturday.
A number of media outlets are working hand-in-hand with ambassadors this week to promote John Moriarty Football.
The organisation delivers more than 800 training sessions and game per year to kids from two remote communities in the Northern Territory.
Whyman will share her story to highlight the importance of Indigenous representation in Australian soccer and stimulate support for the organisation.
