BLAND SHIRE
Australia Day ambassador will be paralympic swimmer Matthew Levy.
- 7am: Australia Day breakfast in McCann Park, West Wyalong. Breakfast cooked by the West Wyalong Lions Club, Ambassador address, live performances from the town band and town choir and presentation of Bland Shire Australia Day awards.
UNGARIE
- 9.30am: Community brunch at the Ungarie Memorial Hall, awards presentation and Ambassador address.
CARRATHOOL SHIRE
The Australia Day ambassador will be Olympic swimmer Mark Tonelli.
- 9.30am-12.30pm: Country Brunch will be held at the Rankins Springs War Memorial Hall. Brunch will be followed by the presentations of Australia Day awards and light entertainment.
COOLAMON SHIRE
The Australia Day Ambassador is athlete James Pittar.
- 8am: Free community breakfast Marrar Public School.
- 10am: An official ceremony will proceed, including a flag raising, mayoral and ambassador address and presentation of awards.

COOTAMUNDRA SHIRE
The Australia Day Ambassador will be Mark Warren.
- 8am: Flag raising ceremony will be followed by breakfast at Jubilee Park
- 9am: Official Australia Day Ceremony

GREATER HUME SHIRE
The Australia Day ambassador will be multi-award winning songstress Sara Storer.
- 8am: A free breakfast will be cooked at the Wymah Recreation Reserve.
- 9am: The official ceremony will include an ambassador address and presentations of awards.
GRIFFITH
The Australia Day ambassador is chef and patissier Adriano Zumbo.
- 7.30am: A traditional Australian breakfast will be served at the Pioneer Park Museum.
- 9.15am: Australia Day awards and citizenship ceremony will take place at Griffith Regional Theatre.
GUNDAGAI SHIRE
The Australia Day ambassador will be leading commentator and expert on association football (soccer) in Australia Andy Paschalidis.
- 8am: Barbecue breakfast provided by the Gundagai Lions Club in Carberry Park.
- 8.55am: Mayoral and ambassador address will be followed by citizenship awards.

The Australia Day ambassador will be World Superbike Champion Warwick Nowland.
- 8am: Flag-raising ceremony, breakfast, awards ceremony and address from the Australia Day ambassador to be held at the Hay Gaol.
- 3pm to 8.30pm: John Houston Memorial Swimming Pool.
JUNEE
Australia Day ambassador will be Viv Kartsounis
- 7am: Start the day by registering for the Jail Break fun run.
- 7.30am: Fun run commences.
- 8am: Barbecue breakfast will be served at the Recreation Centre.
- 9.30am: Australia Day celebrations in the Stadium begin.
- 11.30am: Water volleyball game
- Noon: Free entry to Recreation Centre ends.
- 12.30-3pm: Cool off by enjoying the free water slide.
LEETON
Australia Day ambassador will be author, TV presenter, radio presenter and producer, Susie Elelman.
- 7.30am: Breakfast served in Mountford Park
- 9.15am: Australia Day awards presentations
- The afternoon will be filled with fun family activities at the Leeton pool.
LOCKHART SHIRE
Australia Day ambassador will be author Valerie Parv.
- 8am: A free breakfast will be served at the Recreation grounds at Pleasant Hill
- 10am: The official awards ceremony will begin.
MURRUMBIDGEE
- 8am: Breakfast in John McInnes Square Coleambally.
- 9am: Official ceremony and presentation of awards will begin Darlington Point
- Noon: The official awards presentation will begin in CWA Park and lunch will follow the conclusion of the ceremony.
NARRANDERA SHIRE
The Australia Day ambassador will be John Harper from Mate Helping Mate.
- 8am: Lions Club Aussie Breakfast at Marie Bashir Park
- 9am: Australia Day Official Ceremony and Thanksgiving Service at Marie Bashir Park
- Noon: Activities and DJ at Lake Talbot Swimming Complex
BARELLAN
- 10.30am: Australia Day activities and barbecue lunch at Barellan Pool
GRONG GRONG
- 8am: Flag raising ceremony and breakfast at Grong Grong Park
- Noon: Australia Day Luncheon at the Grong Grong Sports Club
TEMORA
The Australia Day ambassador will be Countess Natalie FaberCastell
- 8am: Free breakfast, poetry, music and ambassador address at Davey Park in Ariah Park.
- 5pm: Official Australia Day Ceremony at Gloucester Park. Ambassador address, free barbecue and entertainment from Craig Giles.
TUMUT
The Australia Day ambassador is author Mr Hugh Mackay
- 8am: Barbecue breakfast in the Stockwell Gardens
- 9am: Official award ceremony will begin
- 2pm-6pm: A free Australia Day pool party is happening at every Shire pool. Entry to the pools during this time is free. Party goers can enjoy games, music and traditional Aussie barbecue fare.
BATLOW
- 8am: Come along to Memorial Park in Batlow and enjoy a breakfast cooked by the Batlow Rotary Club and Batlow Rural Fire Service. This will be followed by the presentation of the Batlow Community Awards.
ADELONG
- 11:30am: Morning tea at the Adelong S & C Club followed by the official Australia Day awards.
TALBINGO
- 5:30pm: Barbecue dinner at Miles Franklin Park and presentation of the Talbingo Community Australia Day awards.
TUMBARUMBA
The guest speaker will be Barry Houting.
- 11am: Raising of the flag, awards presentation and ambassador address to be held at the Tumbarumba Library.
- Noon: Cutting of the Australia Day cake followed by a barbecue lunch.
WAGGA
The Australia Day ambassador is professional dancer Jarryd Byrne.
Monday, January 25
- 5pm-7pm: Picnic at the Oasis. Enjoy free entry from 5pm to 7pm. Pack a picnic and sit by the pool to get relief from the heat.
- 7pm: Australia Day awards, ceremony and concert will take place at the Civic Theatre.
Tuesday, January 26
- 7am: Free community breakfast at Wagga Beach.
- 8am-3pm: Markets at the Beach
- 9am: Meet Wagga's newest citizens at the Wagga Beach Australia Day Citizenship ceremony.
- 1pm: Australia Day talent quest at the Civic Theater
YOUNG
The Australia Day ambassador will be television journalist and news presenter Peter Overton.
- 8.30am: Barbecue breakfast at Carrington Park
- 10am: The Australia Day awards will be announced, followed by a tree planting ceremony.
