A second man has been charged over an alleged aggravated break and enter in Griffith this week.
About 3.30pm on Monday, two men entered a property on McCarthy Road, Lake Wyangan, and threatened a 35-year-old man in the home.
One of the men allegedly assaulted the occupant, before striking him with a stick.
The two men fled the scene, taking cash and a mobile phone.
The injured man was taken to Griffith Base Hospital, and has since been released.
An 18-year-old man who was also home at the time was not injured.
Officers from Griffith Local Area Command were notified and launched an investigation.
Following inquiries, about 9.20pm on Monday night, a 39-year-old man was arrested at a property in Hanwood and taken to Griffith Police Station, where he was charged with aggravated robbery.
He attended Griffith Local Court on Monday and was refused bail to reappear early next year.
