TWO stalwarts of Wagga’s Australian Air Force Cadets squadron – Bruce and Eileen Wells – have had a Winjeel propeller dedicated in their honour.
The dedication was performed at 332 City of Wagga Wagga Squadron’s end of year parade at the cadet unit’s Forest Hill headquarters.
More than 300 parents and friends attended the parade during which Cadet Flight Sergeant Kye Ritchie was awarded the Flight Commander’s Cup for top cadet.
Squadron Commander, Warrant Officer (AAFC) Michael Barr said the parade was a great opportunity to honour Mr and Mrs Wells, who have given so much to the organisation.
The parade was reviewed by Wing Commander Tony Wennebom.
The next intake for cadets will be in February and is open to boys and girls aged between 13 and 16..
