The doctor says that I am to go today. The Hospital ship Delta is leaving for Egypt. For a while it did not look as if Thomson would get away but he fixed it up somehow. We left the hospital at 1200 and arrived on board some two hours later. Sister Merriman gave me an enamelled badge of hers to keep as a memento. Yank and I were separated when we got on board.
