What's on in Lockhart Shire, December 17, 2015

Come along with the whole family and enjoy live music by Moulin Blue from 2pm.

Catch up in the new beer garden area whilst the kids are entertained and listen to the live music.

We have face painting for the kids a jumping castle for the kids and a visit from Santa with lolly bags for all drinks at happy hour prices for members and their guests. 

Come along and share in the community spirit.

Santa will be cruising around The Rock on December 24. He will be escorted and helped by The Rock Rural Fire Service and The Rock State Emergency Service, so keep an eye out for Santa on the trucks.  He will be making his way through the township starting around 4pm.

Yerong Creek will host the Wandering Frogs Invitational 11 v Yerong Creek cricket match and family day on Sunday, December 27, at Yerong Creek Recreation Ground and Bowling Club.

Cricket is expected to start at 1.30pm. A bus is being arranged to leave the William Farrer Hotel in Wagga at noon and returning from YCBC at 9pm for $10 return.

There will be a barbecue lunch and tapas (cheese platters) available throughout the afternoon and wood fired pizzas for dinner.

There will also be raffles and small fundraising auction in the evening at 7pm and euchre challenge in the air-conditioned club through the afternoon.

Judging for Christmas lights display will be happening sometime this week, with the winning entrant receiving $100 sponsored by the Lockhart Ex-Servicemen’s Club.
