Marrambidya Wetlands
A PROJECT turning disued parts of a sewer treatment plant into wetlands has been given a $90,000 boost. Origin Energy Limited – Uranquinty Power Station has offered Wagga City Council $90,000 over three years to help complete the Marrambidya Wetland project.
The NSW Environmental Trust and Riverina Local Land Services have also financially contributed to the $811,838 project, which enhances the natural environment along the river.
