Little Riverina voices lent themselves to the big sound that was produced for the Schools Spectacular in Sydney.
Students from schools across Wagga and the Riverina travelled to Sydney to participate in the last Schools Spectacular at the Entertainment Centre.
Sixteen students from years four to six from Sturt Public School participated in the 1500-strong primary choir.
“The students thoroughly enjoyed it,” principal Kerry Barker said.
“It builds musicality and it’s a good opportunity to see what it’s like in a big venue.
“They are all very motivated to try again next year.”
The children sang backing vocals and performed in a tribute to the Anzacs in the main arena.
“It was profound and quite moving,” she said.
Mrs Barker attended the show on Friday night when she was also awarded for her involvement as a trainer in the Schools Spectacular for the past 20 years.
Students from Wagga High School, Kooringal High School and Mount Austin High School also attended.
