The defending champion of the singles snooker pennant championship Brian Bentley will play finals again this year.
If Bentley wins the quarter final against Brad Oakman, the semi final should be intense.
It could be a grand final rematch at the Wagga RSL Club; Bentley versus Alex Waddell.
Bentley’s doubles partner Jayne Taylor is tipping a Bentley v Brenden Mellan grand final.
“That would be an incredible final, I think,” Taylor said.
“Brenden’s not much of a safety player but he sinks balls like you wouldn’t believe.”
It would cap off a successful time for Bentley after he and Taylor combined to win the Wagga RSL Summer Series last Tuesday night.
Bentley and Taylor proved too good for Mellan and Kamal George.
Mellan highlighted his ability in that final.
