A MOTORCYCLIST has been flown to Canberra with serious injuries suffered in a crash on Wednesday night.
A NSW Ambulance spokesman said a male rider hit a sign on Yanco Avenue at Leeton about 8.30pm.
The rider’s condition was stabilised by paramedics before he was flown by an aeromedical helicopter to The Canberra Hospital for further treatment.
It is believed the rider suffered injuries to his back and to an arm.
Police are investigating the crash.
