Runaway car in Mac attack
IT WASN’T quite the drive-thru window Maccas’ patrons were hoping for.
An out-of-control car last week ploughed through a large window at the McDonald’s restaurant in Young.
Just after 7.30pm on Friday night, the driver was attempting to ease into a car space in the McDonald’s car park when he hit the accelerator instead of the brake, causing the vehicle to mount the kerb, career through a hedge and crash into a large window.
No one was injured in the incident.
