REPRESENTING NSW can be costly, especially when it involves a week long trip to Adelaide for the Pacific School Games. Wagga basketball whiz Wani Gwada, 12, will not miss out thanks to a community fundraiser held on Saturday. Attendees gave $500 and Basketball Wagga will also contribute. “When they saw the story they wanted to help, he’s got a very bright future,” multicultural community representative Frank Newah-Jarfoi said.
