RETIRED Albury mare Loved Up may have run her last race but she may have one more victory in store.
Loved Up will start heavily favoured to be named Southern District Racing Association (SDRA) Horse of the Year at Friday night’s awards presentation.
The SDRA Awards Night starts at 6pm this Friday at the Murrumbidgee Turf Club Members Lounge. Entry is free and no bookings are required.
Loved Up is one of nine finalists for 2014-15 Horse of the Year, along with The Monstar, Art Thou Ready, Calke Abbey, Corsica Lad, Yet Tobe Convinced, High Opinion, Zero To Ten and Mr Sommerville.
The SDRA Special Achievement Award will also be announced with Pat Freyer, Mark Hart, Darryl McLean and Ian Reid the finalists.
The 2014-15 SDRA premiership winners will also be recognised.
